TBR08 Launch - 28/05/2008
After 8 months of design and manufacture, Team Bath Racing 2008 has finally launched TBR08 car on the University of Bath Parade. The team would like to thank our sponsors who have provided financial and technical support to the team to enable us to manufacture this car. We would also like to thank Andy Green, Andy Church and Guy Brace for the technical support they have provided the team to help them produce many of the parts seen on the car today. TBR08 have returned to the University of Bath to commence the next design iteration of the 2008 entry into the Formula Student event. The team plans to build on the success of TBR07 by building an even lighter four cylinders steel spaceframe car with numerous improvements. TBR07 is the top UK Formula Student Team! - 15/07/2007
Team Bath Racing have recorded yet another best results in the Formula Student competition, which was held in Silverstone this year. The team started well with strong performances in both the Costing and Business events. However, the team had to adapt the chassis to allow the car to compete after long discussions with the scrutineers. With scrutineering over the car went onto the acceleration event and recorded a second place finish with a time of 3.81 seconds. There were also solid performance at the sprint and the skidpad event which set the team up for the endurance and the possibility of a strong finish. TBR08 Finish Second in Class 3 - 15/07/2007
TBR08 have sucessfully awarded a second place in the Class 3 Design Competition in 2007 Formula Student competition. The team completed the Design, Cost and Business events at high ranks. With these results the team came an overall second place in the competition providing excellent experience for the team in preperation for next years Class 1 event. Newsletter Archive
